    The cream cheese.

    A dairyman named William Lawrence starts making a rich, fresh cream cheese in upstate New York. It later becomes Philadelphia, the one we still use.

  2. 1990 · Bask usulü

    The creamy cheesecake.

    Around 1990, chef Santiago Rivera at La Viña in San Sebastián bakes his cheesecake hot and short. Dark outside, almost liquid in the middle. The world copies it.

  3. 2000 · Antep fıstığı

    The pistachio.

    Antep pistachio becomes one of Türkiye's first protected geographical indications. Today its name is protected in the EU too.
